ABOUT
McKenzie is an artist, designer and tastemaker who grew up in a small town in rural West Texas. She now
resides in Birmingham, AL with her husband, Michael, and their son, Liam, and dachshund, Sophie.
When McKenzie was young, she spent time with her family renovating and designing homes and there began her passion for all things interiors. She began her personal brand at 18 and quickly began being commissioned by designers. Shortly after she began her business, she traveled across Europe for an extended period of time, experiencing the rich history and beautiful art that are an intrinsic part of European culture. Through these early-life experiences, McKenzie developed her iconic style through various mediums, her most used being oil, watercolor and plaster.
McKenzie has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Lonny, Home Worthy, Southern Living, Chairish, Feels Like Home by Lauren Liess, More Beautiful by Mark Sikes, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, Birmingham Home & Garden. She will also be featured in Schumacher’s newest book, Southern Interiors, and Frederic Magazine, which will be released in Fall of 2024.
